Gifted to the village by none other than the legendary Robert Bruce, this gesture was a heartfelt thank-you for the unwavering support of the community during the pivotal Battle of Bannockburn. Since then, save for periods of war, the 1746 Act of Proscription, and a brief pause during the recent challenges of Covid, the Ceres Highland Games have been an unmissable annual tradition.
